Teacher Institute


June 26-27, 2017


Get the opportunity to speak with staff members about planning field trips, using classroom resources, and facilitating activities. Participants will also get to enjoy many field trip activities themselves. This program can be used to apply for continuing education credit.

Space is limited!

The program lasts two days, covering ten hours of activities designed to engage students as they learn about the Civil War in North Carolina. Educators will also get the opportunity to take a guided tour of the battlefield in order to get a closer look at the battle that occurred in March 1865
